This week, we discovered that the New York case against Trump was growing weaker. The star witness for prosecutors, Michael Cohen, crumbled. He was outed for having a bias against Trump and for lying under oath. He even admitted to stealing tens of thousands of dollars from Trump.
Another top witness, for the defense, went on to expose Cohen’s claims. He stated that what Cohen testified was false, based on conversations they’ve had.
Trump’s lawyers called for a mistrial, given Cohen’s unreliable and untrustworthy testimony. Instead, the judge threatened to throw out the claims of the defense’s top witness—a move that would have helped prosecutors condemn Trump. Now, legal expert Alan Dershowitz is raining fire down on this bogus judge.

Legal expert Alan Dershowitz called out Judge Juan Merchan for his “outrageous” rulings in the New York criminal trial against former President Trump, arguing the case should be broadcast on television so that Americans can see the “spectacle.”
On “The Brian Kilmeade Show,” Tuesday, Dershowitz called Merchan a “tyrant” after he threatened to strike the testimony of Bob Costello, the defense’s main witness, an act that Dershowitz argued would have violated the Sixth Amendment.
Dershowitz called Judge Merchan a tyrant for trying to manipulate the case in Democrats’ favor. Merchan was considering striking key witness testimony that contradicted Cohen’s claims. Dershowitz said that the judge was violating the Sixth Amendment. He called the entire trial a “spectacle.”
Many believe Judge Merchan is grossly biased and unfit to preside over this case. He personally donated to Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign. And his daughter works closely with Democrats including people close to Kamala Harris. To think Merchan is doing anything fairly in this trial is ridiculous.
Merchan’s behavior toward Trump from the start spoke of bias. And even though a judge should have thrown out this case long ago, Merchan is letting it drag out. He might even be trying to sway the jury’s decisions by striking testimony.
This isn’t even the first time a biased New York judge tampered with a Trump trial. It seems judges from this liberal state hate Trump as much as Democrats. Dershowitz’s criticisms might be echoed by Trump’s defense. Should the jury convict, they will use Merchan’s bias during the appeals process, proving the judge poisoned the entire process.
